GHANA: Be a Digital Farmer with Kwidex

Kwidex is a crowdfunding platform in agribusiness which allows the public to fund partners in the agricultural value chain for returns. The company emerged as a result of inability of one of the co-founders to access funds from a financial institution. The team came together at the Kosmos Innovation Center Agritech Challenge in 2018. The name Kwidex is from the British slang ‘Quid’ and the word ‘Exchange’.

Kwidex is bridging the financing gap in Agriculture through crowdfunding. They charge commissions when funds are raised on the platform for farmers and agribusinesses in different stages of the value chain from production, transport, processing, storage and marketing. In short they have a vision to make “Everyday people own a piece of agriculture for returns“.

Kwidex founders Prince Asamoah, Seyram Mantey and Eugene Asiedu winners at Betway Fintech Challenge 2019.
